I cannot praise Leanne highly enough for the way she dealt with the arrangements for our mum's funeral over the past few weeks. From the first meeting in her office right through to the day, Leanne was warm, compassionate, efficient and nothing was too much trouble.
Her recommendations for a Reverend, organist and florist couldn't have been better
She guided me through what was on occasion a very stressful time.

The team at Gilmans really were fantastic, from the initial meeting with Leanne, to arranging the details, she was kind, supportive and got my family smiling at what was really a very upsetting time and was so reassuring too. She listed to what we felt we wanted and arranged it all perfectly. The team on the day were fantastic too, providing kindness, professionalism and endless support (even in what felt like a windy monsoon they were prepared for everything).

After the unexpected death of my mother, our lives were turned upside down. Not knowing where to turn, I called numerous funeral directors and once I'd spoke to Leanne I was straight away put at ease (which a lot of the others hadnt), she even had my laughing, which was something I hadn't done for a while. Leanne explained in as much detail as she could what we should expect and helped at every step. We went in to discuss things with her and she is just as lovely in person as she was on the phone. She called a couple of times between us going in and mum's funeral. To check in and update us on what was happening. She made the hardest time of our life just that little bit easier. If ever I had to, i would definitely recommend Gillmans.
