Beautifully maintained cemetery. Spacious chapel has TV screens inside which can be used for a video or photo slideshow. Hymns chosen can have a backing chorus of voices at the press of a button by the vicar.

Beautiful cemetery, very peaceful. Has lovely ponds with waterfall and fish, and wild pheasants roaming

I visited this weekend the first time for a year to see the plaque to my family and my grandparents grave. Contrary all the other reports here I was disappointed. It seems to me the commercialisation of cemeteries has taken over. The now popular small shrines placed in the ground have gradually taken over and filled just about every space in the grounds. It was almost impossible to stand in front of and look at the plaque, which was not inexpensive, without fear of stepping back on one of the memorials which obviously I would not want to do out of respect. The tree / bush planted in it was pushing against my back it was so close. Surely they they should not have been placed at such high density. At the same time the area of my grandparents grave, which clearly does not generate income, was very poorly maintained. I'm not talking about the graves themselves but the surrounding areas. This is the result of the corporate world taking over and looking to maximise income.

Most of my and the wifes family are permanent residents here. Some parts of the cemetery are rather ran down and unloved

The funeral itself went well. The issues were when I’d paid £1500 for my fathers plaque and received no contact when it had arrived to book in the interment of the ashes. I called 5 weeks after ordering the plaque only to be told it had already been up on the wall for 2 weeks with no one having made an effort to contact me. I have since tried to call multiple times over the course of a month with no answer and when I had got through it would be to a call centre in the midlands who have told me that I will receive a call back from beckenham which is still yet to happen. I was told the plaque had been up for 2 weeks the first week of November and it’s now 4 days to Christmas and still no reply. I wanted to leave the emotional pain of burying my fathers ashes in 2022 and now have to carry that into the new year. They are impossible to contact and I can’t understand why there is no proper email communication available. Extremely disappointed.
