We couldn't have had a more caring and understanding Funeral Directors. Lee and his colleagues were outstanding, their care in looking after our Mum for us and to us as a family was exceptional. On the day Lee made sure everything was perfect and it was, nothing was too much trouble for him. Thank you Lee and all his colleagues especially Claire for taking care of our PRECIOUS Mummy and taking her on her final journey, you did her PROUD. Thank you also for the patience, care, love and understanding you gave us as a family, it is and was an honour to have you as our Funeral Directors and will use you again in the (hopefully) distantant future.

I just have to acknowledge the outstanding, over and beyond service of Claire Cross. I am actually lost for words.

Unfortunately my son Paul passed away New Years Eve 13 years ago and basically every year I have saved a Xmas card of a dove and made it into a tag to put on the Xmas tree in the shop at Sidcup.

Every year it has always been accepted by Catherine years ago and now Claire.

Monday I went to do my usual and place a dove tag on the tree but didn’t have one and tried to find one along the high street. Walking passed Francis Chappell I happened to look through the window to check there is still a tree.

Yes there was a tree with my dove tag from last year. I hope you understand what that meant to me. I went in and straight away Claire recognised me and said hello Dove lady as she had every year.

I expressed my caring loyalty to her which I know was clearly visible.

What impressed me most that she said I know Paul always has to be at the top of tree and wasn’t sure if you would make it due to Covid. Claire saved my tag from last year and is going to keep it for next year, just in case. This came straight from her heart.

I always put the last birthday/Xmas/Mothers day cards from Paul, even he has his birthday cards up at home on the occasion and they are still in mint condition.

That’s excellent continued Customer Care for 13 years and now I know it will go on and Paul will never be forgotten.

If there is a reward or recognition of some kind, Claire totally deserves it.

Francis chappells in sidcup service was excellent...staff are so friendly and helpful ..Claire helped me with planning dads funeral and helped me every step of the way sorting out everything for me, she went that extra mile highly recommended excellent service
