Mark met me at very short notice, as I needed to transfer my Dad to Cardiff University, as my Dad had requested that his remains were to be donated to science. My Dad had originally bequeathed his body to Birmingham University, but unfortunately there wasn't any room, so we had to locate another University at very short notice, to ensure that Dad's wished could be met. Mark was very helpful and provided additional services at no extra cost that were not included in the original quote, for transporting Dad to Cardiff and Mark informed my that my Dad was now resting in Cardiff University.
I am so grateful for the excellent service provided at this difficult time and following our meeting, I checked other funeral Directors to compare the cost of what we required and all of them were over 3 times the cost that Mark charged me.

For anyone out there that hasn’t been through the loss of someone you love, I can only say this man has your best interests at heart. Not only did you show my brother & I the compassion and understanding we needed in our darkest hour, but went out of your way to help and guide us through our most painful time.

Nothing was too much trouble and being able to visit our mother every day for as long as we did was precious time that will never be forgotten.

Professional, compassionate, friendly, understanding & willing to do whatever it takes to take you through a painful time.

Looking back now, I couldn’t of asked for anymore.

My mom passed away in September and we where really unsure on what to do as my mom passed away at home, my daughter looked on the internet and found Mark and said he had some very good reviews, I rang and Mark said he would come out to me this was at 4 am in the morning.
Mark has been fantastic through out this awful time, he was very compassionate there was nothing to much for him to do.

From my first contact with Mark at Jacksons Funeral Services to my last, I felt that he and his team was ensuring that my needs were met. I had rang other funeral places but didn’t feel the warmth generated by Jacksons. Even little things like a phone call out the blue to check everything was ok, just made it feel very personal to me. The fees quoted were adhered to (some things which are clearly explained are extras) but the final fee was less than others were quoting. I never felt pressured or rushed in all my dealings. M Jackson & Son funeral service's recently dealt with my late wife's passing and from the moment I entered their premises and met Debbie I knew I had made the correct choice, the way in which she dealt with the procedure was first class and explained everything in a way that I understood, nothing was too much trouble, and on the day of the funeral Mark was punctual and courteous and his staff were impeccably turned out, Mark guided us through the whole process and never rushed us.

M Jackson and Son were appointed to look after the funeral arrangements of my mother and the standard of care and communication was excellent , we were allowed to visit my mother in the Chapel of Rest whenever we wanted and it was so easy to talk over things with Mark Jackson.
