We used William Houghton funeral directors, when my sister sadly passed away. We didn't know were to start with organising the funeral. Anne visited us at our family home, she was brilliant, especially with my parents who had, had such an awful shock. She took over pretty much everything, she made a very difficult time a lot more bearable. I can not rate them highly enough.

From my first contact with your company, which was the longridge office, I was very impressed.
I subsequently contacted Anne at the fulwood office as it is only down the road from me. She was amazing, so thoughtful, astute and took all the time and effort necessary to help me through the process.
She has been so fantastic, and has helped me in every aspect of the organising and even the detail of the service. This in itself seemed a mammoth task, as it was to be held by the family, by myself.
Anne kept InTouch all the way, encouraging and supporting and even suggesting where needed.
I cannot thank her enough, she is an amazing person and clearly loves her role and passionate about her job.

We recently had to say goodbye to my 89 year old father. I chose William Houghton funeral services because they had their own chapel which was a lovely small and intimate space for a service, ideal for a small group of mourners, or can accommodate a larger group if required.
I have no hesitation in recommending this firm for their caring, professional and efficient organisation. A very positive experience at a very sad time.
