Spadework

Found by accident on a Sunday drive out and what a gem this place is! Cafe, nursery with lots of helpful advice (and great prices), activities for children, and supporting young adults with learning difficulties.. I'll definitely be coming here again for plants and a relaxing browse.

Small place but pleasant to move about and not be rushed. Their cafe was nice specially outside in the sun the cheese and ham toastie was very nice my husband said, however my large bacon bap was just that large bap small amount of bacon very disappointing would not get again. Victoria sponge looked nice and it was tasty but again half the amount of someone else's normal. Coffee was good. Next time definitely toastie and coffee.

I come here every week with my family, Also with my friends in the week. Being an OAP its so lovely here, I was very sorry to complain today. Our coffees were terrible, My friend asked why?They were weak. You have changed coffee beans. We couldnt drink these coffees. We liked the coffee you had before . Also have you changed cakes too..the millionaires were dry,
We sent the coffees back and bought two cold drinks and had to pay for these when the coffees were not good. Not a good day.

I went to the Cafe with my uncle and we each had All-Day Breakfasts. The food and service was excellent. I even got a baked good to-go. I'm amazed at how clean and organized everything was. I would love to go back when I have more time to walk around.

Lovely environment , amazing staff but my slice of cake could have been more generous for the price . Wouldn't stop me going back however , just have something else !

Lovely charity shop. Friendly people. The only downside was the logs we ordered here were damp to start a fire. The ones we previously brought were great so I'm not sure what happened this time. Great shop though.

What a delightful place, very reasonable cafe and excellent food from limited but sufficient menu. A very worthwhile charity to support.
