Handcocks Farm Nursery

Good choice of plants at reasonable prices but the staff need some help with customer services. The old lady is very curt and unhelpful, didn't want to give me a receipt both separate times and had a negative response to all questions. It has put me off going back....

My wife is a keen gardener and was like a kid in a sweet shop here! Very healthy plants and very cheap prices. We had to go back as we had filled the car😀

I won't buy my plants from anywhere else-they are excellent quality and price. Far superior to larger corporate nurseries. Yes, I agree the customer service from the owner is- well, I find funny now, bless her- she went to primary school with my Grandma and great Uncle. I don't think the school was into teaching customer service back in the late 1920's, early 30's- but her plant knowledge and expertise you will not get from Dobbies- my Grandma and Mrs Hancock know their stuff. I am missing the nursery during this lock down.

Brilliant place for proper plants at decent prices. Big bags of bark for £1 as well.
Mrs Handcock is lovely - can't understand the negative comments. Always been helpful, although she's clearly not that good at getting about. Highly recommended. We miss them at the moment...

Fantastic array of plants at a respectable price. Mrs Hancock amuses me now with her sunny disposition, and I got her to smile on my last visit. At the end of the day I would rather give my money to a local business. Hope they open again soon!
