The kipling cafe is beautiful! The food and drink is always immaculately prepared with love and detail and the service is always amazing! Recently, Pete in particular always makes you feel welcome and cared for, always going the extra mile to make sure you're looked after.

Returning in May 2022 most of the renovations are nearly completed and I am very impressed with the changes.
There are raised beds to display the plants that suit both the younger gardeners and the disabled as well as the general buyer.
The changes inside are good, the main restaurant looks very good and the area around the Kipling cafe nice and smart.
My only complaint is that we forgot our Blue Diamond card but after the purchase there is no way to add the points to your loyalty card.

Previously- Visited with my disabled wife yesterday. Due to COVID measures the store has put in place a one way system around the store that is ok if you can walk with no impairment. The distance from entering he store to exiting the store (with no diversion) has to be at least 150m!
By the time my wife had struggled to walk the length of the store (as you enter you walk through the covered part that is not the main store with no option to enter) just to get in she was too exhausted to look at any of the products and just wanted to get out and back to the car so she could sit again.
There needs to be a shorter route.
We will not be back

Wow we were blown away when we came here for lunch on the way to Torquay on a coach.
The place was clean, tidy, well presented full of everything you can think of and more.
We had a really nice lunch with vegan options too bonus and the posh pop was yummy. This is definately worth remembering to recommend to anyone going on holiday forget the service station this is a must 👍🥰

Lovely garden center, great seeds variety for flowers and vegetables , you have a restaurant clothes shop everything for gardening and garden furniture even for a good barbecue. I bought this tablecloth and the New Guinee Impacient both on sale.

Love this garden centre, staff are brilliant and great choice. Sales are worth going to, I have managed to get some lovely gifts for people when I go. Christmas range gives me neck ache as there is so much to see and each xmas I find a stunning piece to build up our decorations.

This was our second visit in a week! Last week we browsed around the store for a short while but had to stop for lunch all the yummy looking sweets and cakes were too tempting on an empty stomach!
Lunch was excellent bacon and brie paninis with salad and crisps, the service was very fast and the staff very warm and friendly.
This week we had breakfast in the restaurant I highly recommend the eggs benedict. Again excellent service.
The centre is so big you could make this a day out! Some things are a little expensive, but if you keep your eyes peeled there are also some amazing bargains.
Warning! If your not planning to eat in the restaurant fill up before you go or you will buy too many cakes and treats!

Very relaxing walking around. Fab selection of plants for outdoors and indoors. Lots of lighting and extra things for any garden with a good range for every pocket. Loads of lovely foodie treats to take to the till or sit and have a lovely cup of coffee and cake in the very nice coffee shop.

Once you're inside, you're forced around a long trail of goods, rather than being able to visit particular areas directly. I have wondered how to get out in case of emergency!
There are some nice things to buy, especially if you're looking for gifts. The two cafes are nice, but cakes are ridiculously expensive and very very sweet. We enjoy sitting in the Kipling tea room, where it's very comfortable and usually quieter than the larger restaurant.
