St Albans Service Station - Texaco

Hand car wash offering several levels of service priced according to vehicle size. Service is fine with a large number of staff working on the cars, they do a great job. Smile and be happy guys, you will then get five stars.

Very useful location. Petrol, car wash, Amazon locker, parcel shop locker. Even seems to have a clothes washer outside!

I bought some Calor gas from here in April. 3 months later I returned it empty to collect the £39.99 deposit.

I was told I needed a paper copy of the receipt as a photograph of it was not sufficient. Annoyed, I accepted this and returned later that afternoon with a printed copy of the receipt. I was then told by another member of staff that only the manager was able to return my deposit.

I times my third visit such that the manager would be around. Armed with multiple receipt copies and a video recorder, the so-called manager argued for 10mins that he needed the *original* receipt from three months previous. He said that 'anyone could make' the printout I produced.

Eventually, after a lengthy argument and only with support from customers waiting behind me, he conceded and returned my deposit.

What an absolute tool.

Every time we go to send a Evri parcel the scanning 'phone' is broken.... for the last 3 months!!! Basically they can't be bothered to take your parcels and provide this service. Rude staff.

If you are using Evri’s parcel service, AVOID THIS DROP OFF AT ALL COSTS! I dropped off 7 parcels to them on Tuesday 20th September 2022 and the contents of all 7 parcels were stolen by the staff there! Evri and the police have been informed of this.

Avoid evri parcel service, for some odd reason nearly every time after 9pm the ‘system goes down’ and with your parcels in view nothing can be done. Tesco up the road never has issues. System was down translates to, we’ve turned the phone off and can’t be asked

Absolutely appalling standard of hand car wash. £30 and outside of car still covered in salt deposits and mud and inside still mud on seats.
Absolute rip off and recommend using anywhere else.

Very good service, friendly staff and manager. They also sell this amazing Car Air Fresheners called VIP that are perfume based. Really incredible quality. Try them
