ESSO HEENE ROAD

I live local to this place and use it often for various bits, including fuel. What struck me when I stopped by today for a fill up after a long drive was that the fuel costs were extremely reasonable compared to what I had seen advertised road side only fifteen minutes earlier on the way in from Brighton.

I used the car wash for the first time today also. Usual prices, but the car is gleaming so no complaints there.

The staff are friendly, and there is a cash machine on the forecourt. To be fair, you have a spa and another off licence literally 100 metres away also, so if you can't get it at the garage, it's a short walk to find what you need.

I have being visiting this petrol station for over 5 years. It has the most rude/cocky staff I have ever dealt with (not just on few occasions but on every single visit!). I avoid going there for my petrol, but they do have the engine oil that I find hard to find elsewhere so I'm forced visit them once every 6 months or so. I think I will start ordering my engine oil online as can't be asked to deal with them any more.

As a child was traumatised when not allowed to get a Hersheys cookies and cream bar that i was 3p short for. Makes up for it if you have an electric car because in current times there is always a long queue of people that you can laugh at

Does what I need… cheaper fuel which is good.

Moved around the corner over 6 months ago. This station is often an issue, whenever I need petrol atleast 1/3 times I visit, pumps are out of order (for unleaded), staff is out and closed for break or they've closed the entire area for a big lorry blocking the entrance with cones. This has caused many problems having to run to another station that is actually reliable. I honestly didnt think this was a commercial Esso station down to the constant issues. Have given this a 3 as the staff are very friendly and usually lowest price petrol I can find.

Got there I had to move to other pump as cable wouldn't reach normally it does in other petrol stations

Without doubt the worst garage in Worthing. Very unhelpful staff who appear pleasant at first until there is an issue no matter how small and even if not financially related. I have had problems there on more than one occasion at no fault of my own and the staff were not interested to help, they made pathetic excuses and dismissed it. It is my local garage and I will never put a drop of petrol in my car there or use it again and I will make sure everybody knows the reasons.
