Night manager tonight was rude and desperately ignorant. Big sign in window saying pay in advance. Went in to buy washer fluid and £15 of petrol. He told me to come back and pay for the fuel separately I said only need fifteen in a rush very cold didn’t want to come back in. He didn’t do as asked and when the pump went over had to go in again to pay a second time! He said I should have stopped it on the penny and what did I want something for free. Astonished. Never again off to Tesco’s up the road where the women are beautifully polite and British.

I had to start going to Esso as BP stopped doing nectar points. I must admit I had a bad experience when this was a BP garage but it appears a lot better now it is Esso. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. It is also very useful when there are plastic gloves and tissues so that you don't get diesel all over your hands. Oh, and obviously I can get nectar points again which all add up to being useful and eventually buying a free dishwasher!

Horrible customer service. The staff won't even look at you when handling back the change. The guy was checking his phone instead of giving attention to the customer.

Good staff but still drinking the natural community coin up in its overpriced stock of ultra preserved palm oil pumped products that sit on a shelf indefinitely, blahhhhhh bucket please

We went for the petrol as it was the best price in town, friendly man serving and nice well stocked shop.

Also has the Amazon King locker onsite - very useful. Prices not too bad for fuel and odds & sods from the shop.

Changing the unleaded pumps over, which didn't help....no visible signs as to what fuel cards they accept, staff not the happiest or welcoming.
