Went here on the last day of the Eat Out to help out, was greeted by staff members and given hand sanitiser at the entrance. Tables were spread out due to COVID-19. The service was excellent and staff friendly and welcoming. Menu had a good choice and the food was lovely. Bit on the expensive side for Pub food, but we save money with the money off scheme. Plenty of parking spaces and a lovely Garden if you prefer to sit outside. Would highly recommend.

What a superb meal we’ve just had. Huge thanks to everyone involved. The quality of the food was entirely matched by the service. We’ll be back very, very soon.

Oh, and try the duck parfait. It’s sublime.

Myself and a group of friends went here on Saturday afternoon and we had a splendid time. It was a summer party event and they had a DJ. I believe his name was George and he was BRILLIANT! We danced the night away with good drinks and good vibes. I will definitely be coming back here again! (Especially if that DJ does another event).

Had a lovely evening, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent by chef Aaron , highly recommend, would happily eat here again 😋

Always lovely friendly staff to welcome us and seat us at our table. We were offered menus for food and drinks as soon as we were seated and our order for drinks was taken quickly. We then were able to order our food, starter and main. Both starters and main meals arrived quickly, beautifully presented, hot and tasty. We were then offered a dessert menu and the dishes were explained to us and again, arrived quickly and delicious.

The last post I put up was that I was bored of the food here. Well it has definitely changed. I have now eaten here twice and had two very different vegetarian options starter and main and on both occasions they were really good. Ceilings are quite low so quite noisy when full, but that just adds to the atmosphere. Service is great and the waiting staff really knowledgeable. Still very good value for money.

We booked months in advanced for Christmas Day dinner £89 per head x6 one being disabled so went through seating etc. from start to finish was hell. On arrival we was standing around for 10 mins waiting to be seated, we was then sat on a table near the bar which was stood over by others waiting to be served. We was moved again to a booth which was very cramped for us breakfast bar type table. We wasn’t happy to sit at this table and eat Christmas dinner. It was a very uncomfortable situation for disabled person. Once seated at the table we originally booked we then chased up staff and asked for drinks and Christmas crackers. We was given 3 small balls of snack for inconvenience to then be told we had to share those 3 balls between 6 people (take a bite and pass on) We was all stressed tired hungry before receiving Christmas dinner finally after 2 hours. The Serving lady was so rude we just had enough at this point and asked for our deserts to be take away. (The desserts were very poor) We believe they was over booked that day. Their was staff they hid in the kitchen, Everyone seemed unhappy even people were eating out in the cold. What a really awful Christmas day experience!! To pay a high amount for horrible experience was deflating.
