Very good service and excellent food. Couldn’t fault the place. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

A nice welcome on entry, and we were seated immediately.
The food is excellent. The settings and service equally so.

Stopped in for a family meal. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was spot on with the kids welcome. The food was very high quality, a little pricey but you get what you pay for and I would definitely eat here again if I was in the area.

We had a beautifully-cooked and presented meal, pretty well-priced. The chef knows what they are doing; the choice of wines in glass was excellent and the deserts were amazing. And a great selection of beers too.
Really nice cosy atmosphere, friendly local feel and really good new decor combining old and modern.

Visited in a group of 7 on the Sunday prior to Halloween, understandably a busy period, but service was slow and we were often left having to ask for orders to be taken as nobody returned to the table.
Sunday roast was lovely, but over £20 a pop and only one roast potato each is a bit of a joke really. Ordered two extra portions to make up the shortfall and only received six, so we didn’t even get an extra one each! If potato and veg portions are improved, I would definitely recommend though.

First time visiting The Bay Horse, loved it. Bowland brewery ales 👍🍺. Salt and pepper wings were awesome, crispy coated and hot and juicy inside. Friendly staff. Lovely peaceful setting. Will visit again.
