The Marquis Colchester

Fantastic-looking old style building, both inside and outside. We've found a local ale served here too, which was a nice suprise.

The less interesting part was the fact that this seemed to be a sports pub more than anything else, so they didn't cater to those who would rather prefer listening to some good music whilst enjoying a pint during the day; which is a shame really, as it's something a lot of people would probably love to come here for.

Super fun night. Bar staff are super friendly and the beers are well looked after.

Had the unexpected pleasure to experience the most delicious Singapore noodles created by their very talented chef Gary and, as always, the staff and ambiance were on top form too.
