The Brook

Went to The Brook for the first today to have a family meal. The food was very nice, although our mains (3 of us had the honey and orange duck) could have been better. However, we fed this back to the staff which were more than happy to help, and they actually gave us £10 off our meal.

Friendly staff, very nice food (albeit a tad pricey), very pleasant venue - would definitely return.

Just popped in for a half pint as I always wanted to visit as I've driven past in the evenings when the garden is beautifully lit up. Loads of outdoor space and a beautiful garden. There was a small child's play area too. This pub is also dog friendly.
My friend had an alcohol free beer so it's great that more pubs are providing these options.

It's our local. Staff are friendly and it's very uomarket. .we had some awesome beer and g and t. Along with squid, as a starter. They also do a very good Sunday roast

On a mini mission to review local pubs for their roasts. this one was gooood! at the top end £18 per roast (which i feel is a bit much for food that cost a few quid per portion) but its the standard gastro pub price.... loads of meat, well cooked veggies, really nice red cabbage with nutmeg!!! good gravy and horseradish was lovely also.. beef was plentiful cooked pink and well rested thinly sliced and loads of it, roasties were nice enough, large yorkie pud. this has always been a nice pub and it still is, i felt the roast couldn't be improved well worth a visit!

The food is always good here. Met friends for a lunchtime meal and we were the only people in the restaurant area. That's the only reason I gave atmosphere 4 stars.

Best place I’ve eaten, staff are very welcoming and polite. Food is exceptional. Manager also gave me a birthday drink on the house. This is a lovely place for me to come for my coffee before work for a bit of relaxation time. Would deffo recommend

one of the better pub food I have tried. really tasty above average quality. especially lamb burger was stunning
