Interesting food selection and good beers.

Lovely meal. We had Jamaican jerk chicken and whole bream for mains. Delicious. Nice ambience and service. Definitely worth another visit.

Really enjoyed the food here. Great atmosphere and clean. One of the better burger (not pictured) I have had in a while in the years I’ve gone to the UK. Probably the closest to an American Burger I have had in the UK.

Good dinner (value for money) but my wine was £28 on the menu (Pinot Noir from Romania) and I was charged £32. That makes a 3 stars review when it would have been 4 or 5.
*After drinking the wine I’m not 100% sure about the wine issue but I can edit my review if I’m wrong.

Fish and chip special abit of a let down. The fish within the batter was soo thin and almost non existent. I get that it's plaice but it was tiny. Way too much batter for the size of fish. I feel like they must have been running out of it so they gave everyone something that was small and not acceptable so they loaded up the batter. It had two layers on it.

Atmosphere and waiters nice. It was abit too warm.

We had an excellent meal here although the service slightly let down the overall experience. One of our meals was forgotten about so not great. The atmosphere was very nice and the tables were well spaced so you didn't feel like you were say on top of each other.

Having said that, the food was exceptional and was well worth the wait. I'd certainly come back here again.

Tried my first scotch egg and it was surprisingly delicious, unfortunately that's all the good news I have about this place. We pre-booked a table, arrived on time and waited an hour for our Sunday pork roast which came out lukewarm at best and was cold before I even got halfway through the meal. Others that arrived after us received the same meals before us.

Understand it must be a busy time but we had a very poor experience.

We came for a company Christmas meal and the room where our table was was super nicely decorated for Christmas. The food was amazing, the starters were very different than usual and all delicious especially the pistachio dip! The turkey roast was also really good and the people who had the cod and steak also really enjoyed their meal. Deserts were really nice too!
