The welcome was very good and they welcomed all 3 dogs and a water bowl for them as well. Food was good but service a bit slow 🐌. We would go back because we know the butcher who supplies the pub. Graham Ward

Starters were great (bruschetta and prawn cocktail) then we came to the main course ploughman’s and a sandwich where the chips were soggy and dry and as per attached image the ham was not “roasted” , it was some sort of processed Children’s ham and the cheese had started to go mouldy ….

It's all about the garden and food
Garden is large with lots of seating and a play area for the kids.
Small train for a few £ which goes around the garden.
Car park was busy but this was due to a party
Food was nice
Drinks as expected
Location is a bit out the way
I'll be honest with the smell....there is a sewage smell from the plant down the road but the wind was blowing towards us

Went for Sunday lunch with the family. Service was great and the staff were super friendly but the food was abysmal and the drinks offering poor. No ales at all and truly and upsetting wine list. Sunday roast came with boiled not roasted potatoes, everything else was dry as a nun's slipper and the kids food was awful. The train which is supposedly running every weekend in September wasn't and the septic tank by the car park stank out the garden and play area. Shame, it used to be really nice.

We had a party of 10 on this very busy Festive Sunday lunchtime and were well looked after by the staff. Food and restaurant atmosphere was really lovely and comfortable. Was our first time here and will definitely come back.

Great staff and great food. No need to say anymore. Had a great valentines meal. Food excellently cooked and staff friendly and polite. To cap it all there was live music.
