The Inn on the Green

Only giving 3 stars as the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice pub and clean and tidy, however £21.95 for a Beef Stroganoff that was average at best. The second time I have eaten here with food that doesn't live up to expectation.

Attended a Platinum Wedding Anniversary meal here for sixteen people. Good choices on the menu and truthfully one of the best meals l have ever had. Service, presentation & quality of food excellent. A lovely building and atmosphere, highly recommended.

We had been to a friend’s Christening at a nearby pub and had booked a table to eat as our 2 yr old grandson has allergies so his mum thought it would be wise to have a sit down meal as we were unsure what if anything he could have from the buffet laid on. As it was the buffet disappeared in seconds and we there then told as there had been a rush on hungry guests now ordering food we would have a minimum of 90 minutes wait, not ideal when a hungry toddler needs feeding.

The Inn on the Green accommodated us with ease and the food was excellent. All of the staff were very good but a special praise must go to Ella who was incredible. All of the party throughly enjoyed their meal and I would throughly recommend this venue.

Celebrate my wife birthday along with my 91 year old mother in law, my son and his girlfriend. And this is what the Grumpy Mole does best. Plenty of choice in nice surroundings. If I was being ultra critical I’d say that they could do with losing one or two tables as at times it gets rather crowded and a little noisy. But will definitely be returning.

A wonderful experience today, celebrating an 80th birthday... beautiful place, wonderful food, lovely atmosphere and superb service. ALL the staff were so welcoming and kind, but our waitress was just so attentive to our party of 8. We changed our minds on a few things but everything was just as we wished, thank you so much for a really great afternoon.

Popped in for soft drinks and a dessert. Staff were fantastic. The setting is great, lovely to have a nice lit stove in the corner. Dessert was delicious, the meringue was very well done
