Great cozy inn with a fireplace. They do have nice vegetarian options on the menu though we were here for drinks and desserts. Definitely worth revisiting!

Had to pay for the chips mistakenly served as we thought it was a part of our mains and ate it 🤷🏻‍♀️ and very rudely explained why they still HAVE to charge
Got my main, the pork belly and it was literally not edible as nearly 90% of it was fat. Had no chance to tell anyone as none of the staff were checking how the food is.
Overall it was a totally unpleasant experience and we most likely wont return.

Came here for dinner with a friend and we had a really nice time. The food was tasty, I had the pork belly with dauphinoise for mains and the churros for dessert. The service was also good too. Our server, Livy, was very attentive and friendly.

Had the most brilliant time with my family here. The food was delicious and couldn’t be faulted, especially the desserts. Amy who I believe was the manager was absolute amazing, she made us feel very welcome and took great care of us! Couldn’t recommend this place more, will definitely be coming back.

First time visiting and it was amazing! Service was quick and staff were very friendly. They food was delicious, hot and fresh, great selection on the menu. Really nice garden and lots of room to sit outside in the sun. Great cocktails too! Amy was fabulous, so cheerful and always had a smile on her face - I will definitely be back.

Wonderful meal here on a Saturday lunchtime. Food was exceptionally well cooked even though we were a group of seven and almost all of us chose different things. Everyone of us commented how delicious the food was, from the salmon to the burgers and to the vegan Thai curry.
Deserts were great too, and the Hogsback IPA was really well kept and tasty.

Most probably the best food and drinks place in the area. We had lunch here one afternoon on Saturday and it was great ambience, excellent service, helpful and knowledgeable staffs. Presentation and food are of the good quality.

Nicely decorated in the restaurant and, this place has some sentimental meaning for me but, I just wanted to give some feedback. Basically, the prices for food here are just insane now for what you get. I get that things cost more now but, if you’re paying £16 for fish and chips, or nearly £20 for a burger, they’d better be the best ones you’ve ever had. Sadly they aren’t, it’s a chain pub so not as nice as your independent country pub, locally sourced grub, all while costing more per dish.

I wouldn’t rush back now at this price point, as you can get better for cheaper.
