Blue Check

Awesome. I ordered the fish & chips at £12:50. As I'm in London, very close to Wembley stadium I wasn't expecting much, but how wrong was I. Nice big piece of fish with side salad and garden peas. Really nice dinner.

Went here as it was a short walk from Wembley Park Station. Has decent reviews, thought I’d give it shot. We sat down, and then we’re forgotten about until we made awkward eye contact with one of the bartenders who came over and admitted she had forgotten about us. No worries it happens. I ordered the ribeye, my friend got fish and chips. My steak was beyond saving. I had to saw through it with my knife it was so tough. A ribeye should never be tough. You can see how dry it is in the picture. Tried the other pieces and no better. No one came back after dropping off the food, they stayed behind the bar the rest of the time. I ate the seasoned potatoes which were good and part of the mixed salad that wasn’t drowned in whatever dressing that was on it. When we checked out (have to walk up to the bar), no one bothered to ask how anything was. They asked what we had, passed the card reader over the counter while they continued their side conversation and that was it. very disappointed. Definitely not worth the £17.

We were moved to a hotel in Wembly due to Queen Elizabeth II laying in state. This spot was an excellent choice to pop in for food and a brew. The fish-n-chips were one of te best I've ever had! The veggies were cooked to perfection and the fish was phenomenal. I would return to this great spot anytime!!

The Blue Check holds up to other reviewers who claimed it to be hidden gem of Wembley. Visited for Sunday Roast, which was delicious. Nice variety of beers as well. Great service as well, very friendly and welcoming.

If you want a warm friendly place to eat with friends or alone no hassle free this is the place plenty of choice in food Breakfast lunch or dinner price is affordable as you may notice 3 different

Original Review: Had an amazing Take-Away Sirloin Steak dinner from the Blue Check near Wembley Park last night! It came with some hearty chips and a fresh garden salad. I also ordered a side of onion rings and cheesy mozzarella sticks. I will definitely be coming back to this pub post-COVID to grab dinner and a pint as well as watch a few football games.
