Very nice home cooked food. The view on the terrace was fantastic. Very friendly staff. A good choice for a meal out with a view.
*Just visited again. The food was exceptional, the olives and warm focaccia were delicious. The lambs liver and bacon was very tasty. But the star of the show was the deserts. Lemon curd cheesecake that was so light and 3inches high! Served with blackberry ice cream, was devine. The treacle tart with ginger and honey ice cream went down well, the apple and plum crumble with custard was a big hit, and the brownie and ice cream didn't fail to please. The views are fantastic, the food is awesome and the service very good as well. Of you're thinking about visiting get booking and go!

Lovely place for food, atmosphere is nice, Staff friendly and helpful, this inn is set on the gloucester road between stroud, edge, and onto gloucester, the view is amazing of Painswick Beacon, Bisley and Painswick itself, the food was really good and nice and hot, there is seating to sit outside and relax, Definitely recommend and be going again

We've driven past this Inn many times on the way to Gloucester and decided to check out their Sunday lunch. Great location looking across the Painswick Valley and most of the tables in the large restaurant have spectacular views. Staff were friendly and service was fast and efficient. Reasonably priced and a good choice of eating options in addition to the lamb Sunday roast. We'll definitely be back!

Whilst on a short holiday (3 nights) in the area we ate at the Edgemoor on 2 evenings. Very pleasant experience on both occasions - good service and super food at very reasonable prices. Would visit again if in the area.

Food was great, lots to choose from on the menu and it was all good quality food well cooked. All 6 meals were served hot and well presented. A bit of a wait for main meals but was expected as food is cooked from fresh and worth the wait. Had a good selection of deserts, I enjoyed a 'blast from my past' mississippi mud pie.....😋

Was quiet in there when we went in as a group of 9, but the food was very good and the service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend it - many thanks to the staff for a wonderful lunch!

Hadn't been to the Edgemoor since before Covid and the food was nicer than I remembered - very decent pub grub and good portions at reasonable prices. Thru' a window our table had a nice view of the valley and Painswick.
