I had memorable time in that hidden gem yesterday with my daughter. When I enter the pub felt like I been taken to magical place, to such a warm peaceful place with good feelings from start till leaving. That were exactly why I felt in love with English heritage over 17 yrs ago.Have delicious dinner and can highly recommend starter with goat cheese and asparagus which was to die for. My daughter had crispy calamari which were fantastic too same as our main course fish and chips and goat cheese pizza. Decided to try both 1st time in my life and definitely wasn't disappointed. Chef is literally magical worker as flavours and presentation were absolutely spot on and to die for. Not forgetting about Chris who were serving us meals with gigantic smile which put us at ease and make this dinner definitely much more enjoyable. I haven't have that much of a enjoyment in a long time. Magical place magical time and magical food . Definitely my favourite place from now on. Thank you team, we appreciate all efforts.

We had a large table for 13 which was only booked with 2 days notice as our booking was cancelled at the Royal Forrester's Ascot due to staff shortages. Our meals came out pretty quickly the wait wasn't too long at all. The place was packed when we got there at 7.40 pm. Husbands steak medium rare rib eye was cooked correctly. I had chicken cordon blue was perfect. Halloumi fries to start all very good. Definitely go back there again. Fully recommended. :)

We had another wonderful meal at the pub over the weekend for my little boy’s birthday. He always requests “the Cricks” as he loves their pizzas (and the play area) and once again it didn’t disappoint our multi-generational party. We received the usual warm welcome. Chris served us and was brilliant with the children in particular, but everyone agreed it was both excellent food and service.

A very decent pub with great food in good sized portions, and great service. Special mention to Cristian our waiter who was welcoming, helpful, and friendly. A very enjoyable evening.

We went for a meal on a Thursday evening, it was quite busy but they have plenty of seats so we managed to get a table without booking. Our server Chris was excellent and very friendly, our food was absolutely delicious and the general atmosphere of the pub was really lovely. I would 100% recommend and will be back again, thank you!

This review comes from visiting The Surrey Cricketers around 10 times now. Without a doubt this is the best food and service with a fair price within the area. I don’t even live in Windlesham but I keep making the trip back because it never disappoints. In the warmer months, their back garden is the perfect place to sit. In the colder months the inside is as cosy as any British pub should be. The ambience and clientele are spot on. Though I try and force myself to try other things on the menu for a main course , the pizza always wins every time as it’s so incredible (a must try!) A special shout-out to Chris who by coincidence, is always our waiter each time and goes above and beyond for anything you ask him. See you soon guys!

We had a lovely evening at The Surrey Cricketers. We were looked after very well by Chris. Food, drinks and service were all great. The pizza was delicious and a very decent size! Thursday evening was busy, the place was buzzing by 7pm. Nice vibe.
