The food was incredible, staff were always there to help with anything we needed, amazing views. Must try if you have never been before.

We went on Sunday for roast dinner, had lamb shank and beef. The shank was very small, the beef was taught even though the waiter asked if I want it pink and I said yes. The potatoes were prematurely roasted no colour and tasted like they have been cooked 2 days ago. The ju was amazing, the service was excellent and the starters were tasty, buy we won't be coming back for roast.

Had a lovely time at The Saracens Head,we were very well looked after by Joy and James. I had the lamb rump and it was delicious, we also enjoyed the salt and pepper chicken wings.

Great location. Food was OK. Not the best. 2x kids meals 1x adult meal 3x drinks 55 pound. We're we sat looked like it hadn't been cleaned from day before. Carpets dirty. Staff friendly.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch in cosy surroundings, overlooking the canal. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was well presented, delicious and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

We love this place. Always go and have a little drink by the river while the kids play. Obviously it's a little better in summer but indoors is fantastic if you don't wanna brave the cold. Haven't eaten here yet but food looks amazing

Had a most enjoyable meal here for a Sunday Roast.
We stopped off on our way back , to Liverpool, from a weekend break in Southport.
It is a highly busy Local Pub & Eateries!
We ate in the bar side of house…

9 Went for Christmas lunch what a disappointing experience, Which we were all so looking forward to.

Problem was there was 1 sitting and not enough staff to cope .
Long waits for drinks very limited choice ran out of beer after 1 drink!.
Meals were warm when served had to ask twice for mine to be warmed up after which my meal was slammed down in front of me.
My husband went to see the waitress and thanked her for re heating my meal only to say he didnt appreciate the way she slammed it in front of me to which she came back and apologized.
Food was ok nothing exceptional which you would of expected for paying £89 per person.
Will not be returning to this pub!
