We stayed for a last minute night away at The Nags Head and had a great time. The atmosphere and décor when you walk in is very welcoming and the room itself was beautifully decorated to a high standard. Breakfast in the morning was delicious as well. There was a peculiar smell in parts of the building when we were there but apparently it was a temporary problem due to the farms run off so hopefully will be gone soon!

Had lunch there today absolutely fantastic, service friendly and efficient. Very pleased with whole experience, we had a little dog with us and he was quite welcome. Overall I would highly recommended this place, forgot to mention the really good food

Stayed at The Nags Head for one night as a couple.
Room was very clean and spacious with water, tea, coffee and toiletries provided.
Outside sitting area is nice and shaded, although we ate inside. Good choice of ales and wines! Breakfast was excellent, evening meal was nice, just a shame that the chicken that accompanied the pasta and sauce was over cooked.
Staff very forthcoming and helpful.
Would definitely stay again.

*Changed from 4* to 5* after staying here again as a couple on a Sunday. Just happened to have the same room as before, which was very nice. Although the restaurant was exceptionally busy, all staff were very welcoming and friendly. Ate in the restaurant, had the best Sunday roast dinner that I've had in a long time! Compliments to the Chefs! Full Welsh breakfast again excellent! Would highly recommend.

We came here for a special meal as it's the only place in miles that has an AA Rosette, which used to be a trusted mark of a high standard. Not sure how they gained their rosette, but they need to give it back! Whilst the decor was lovely and the staff perfectly nice, the food was very ordinary and mainly cold. In addition, with all of the amazing local produce available in the area, it's a crime they're dishing up processed cocktail sausages with chewy bacon wrapped around them with their turkey dinner!

We came here for my birthday meal and it was delicious! I had the roast platter and it was a very generous sized meal . Cooked to perfection and superb value for money. Would definitely come again

Recently returned from a 2 night stay here. Was slightly concerned about the mixed reviews I had read but I need not have worried. The room was large and well equipped, spotlessly clean, white fluffy towels. We ate there the 1st night and food was amazing. Very attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast was so tasty and lots of choice. You are not near any other pubs or shops so driving around is a necessity. Loved our stay here.

Been a regular customer here over the last five years. Food quality has deteriorated steadily over the last few months. Today didn’t clear my plate for the first time. Service adequate but similarly has deteriorated steadily.
This was a wonderful place to eat out but now is serving standard fare with ordinary pub standards but Gastro pub prices.

Such a beautiful restaurant, friendly attentive staff without being too much. The food was beautifully cooked. We were a large table, and no order was wrong, and nobody was left waiting for too long for their meals. Would highly recommend a visit to the Nags Head Inn
