I went to the phlebotomy department today , I was seen just before my appointment time by a lovely , friendly and gentle nurse . Then off I went to the X-ray department and was met by a very professional and friendly receptionist, I only waited a few minutes and again the radiographer was very efficient and friendly . Clean surroundings and lovely staff , thank you

Just want to say how wonderful the gentleman on the phlebotomy reception desk is. Should have asked his name but anyone who would have met him would absolutely know who I’m talking about. I told him on my way out that I am so happy when I see him there as he is always so friendly and helpful. And also, the lovely nurse who took my blood was as wonderful as he was. Hope you both are recognised for the lovely people you are.

Attended for dressings to be changed. Reception staff were efficient and polite. Found the nurses very compassionate and caring. Very grateful to be helped by people who genuinely care.

Referred by Darenth valley hospital to have a followup checkup for my premature baby, though doctor was nice but staff in Acorns was very rude. A lady at reception in acorn outpatient unit was as bad as she doesn’t know how to treat patients.we were 5 min late because went to main hospital reception to check about Acorn unit and after finding it all the way to back of hospital we were 5 min late. Lady at reception was quiet angry and the moment we entered she started complaining that we are late. One of the nurse checked our appointment letter and then she realised that Acorn address wasn’t mentioned properly so they decided to weigh baby.
But the lady at reception was unbearable and rude.
God bless those guys who are coming for treatment and experienced such bad staff.

The staff is lovely. They really care about their patients!! After 5 hours waiting in a waiting room in the other hospital (DVH), and nobody asked why we’ve been there…we decided to come here, and we don’t regret it! My son was really well looking for begins with the cleaner lady, the staff from the reception, the lady from the X-ray department and also the nurse and doctor. They are all professionals!
Thank you!🙏

I had my surgery at Queen Mary's yesterday. I found all the staff very helpful and pleasant and all staff involved in my operation explained everything clearly to me at all times. I felt reassured and looked after. I was told what to do and look out for when I got home and gave me pain relief and leaflets to read. They rung me today at home to see if I was ok. Couldn't fault the care thanks so much

Just had an operation at this hospital. I stayed overnight on Mottingham ward and I would like to say that the nursing staff in this ward are absolutely lovely. They took great care of me, nothing was too much trouble for them. Every member of the medical team i met were fantastic. The anesthetist explained everything in detail and so did the surgeon, really made me feel at ease. When i came round in recovery,
the staff were great, got my pain under control immediately and made sure i was comfortable before taking me back to the ward. All of the nurses were so friendly and cheerful and they made sure I was comfortable. The ward is spotless, the cleaner came in twice checking the ward was clean & tidy. Huge thank you to all of the staff (especially Joy-Dorothy)

Visited Urgent Care. Staff polite. Long wait as expected. Toilets clean. Plenty of hand sanitising points. Can't understand why waiting room TV is on only wall that no chair faces
