My partner was taken into Yeovil Hostpital on the 31st of July and it was one of the best experiences she has had! She was taken in by ambulance, booked in straight away and was seen within 40 minutes of waiting! The Doctor who saw her (Green Scrubs) was incredibly, she was very understanding of my partner and the fact that needles are traumatising for her. She stayed extremely calm throughout the whole process and when she realised she needed to do more stiches she explained it to my partner and was very apologetic about it! The Dr concentrated on getting the stiches done even while my partner was in a traumatic state crying and trying to wriggle away! My partner had her stiches out Friday and we're amazed at how well the stiches were put in despite the situation! We're so sorry we don't remember your name, but we are truly grateful for how you've helped my partner and how well you put in the stiches despite my partners trauma responses!
Thankyou so much!

We’ve had 2 A&E experiences, and 1 maternity experience at Yeovil. Every time we’ve been, the staff have been friendly, genuinely caring, and very efficient in their roles. Don’t have a fault to make. Thank you all

Yes, we had to wait our time for our son to be seen in A&E but considering the number of people these guys have to deal with, even on a mid-week evening, is beyond what we might comprehend. Big-up to all of you for what you do and a personal thank you to the guys that looked after our elite GBR squad gymnast on Wednesday 21st September 2022, that we brought in with a wrist injury and needed x-rays and your undivided attention. You guys rock. 😘

Big thank you to the staff at yeovil hospital. My elderly mum was admitted for a week with breathing problems. They all took great care of her and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you especially ward 9A. It's a pity some other hospitals aren't as caring and well run....salisbury for one!!!

Was in a Covid coma in November 2021 at Yeovil hospital. Count myself lucky to have survived.

The after ICU care as delivered by the team of Clare and Tanya is lamentable to non-existent.

My heart notes were lost.

My PTSD tests x2 were not referred to and I have not been given or offered any help for my PTSD after discovering results myself when I received my medical notes. Am now waiting for GP to help.

Follow up records as to how coma patients are doing after a year are not collected. I certainly haven’t been asked.

My journey is being documented on TikTok, YouTube and Facebook under the title Interview With The Coma.

I thought the ICU team at Yeovil were superstars. Now I am not so sure. The rest of it I would class as utterly terrible and they have put me through and continue to put me through a lot. All this is subject to a number of complaints.

They seem not to be interested in learning from patient experience.

Additionally, you cannot put a review on the Yeovil Hospital NHS review page if you have made a complaint. It therefore stands to reason that the reviews will be skewed towards positive experiences whilst excluding the really bad.

I was admitted to Yeovil hospital on Christmas Eve, at around 19.30, with a dislocated hip. All the staff were caring and professional. I received the best of care from every member of the team that dealt with me. I can't fault my experience at all. A BIG thank you!!

I needed to visit Yeovil Hospital yesterday on the advice if the 111 service. The professional service I received from start to finish was exceptional which whilst feeling particularly wretched was both welcome and appreciated. Wonderful staff. Many thanks.

During these days of NHS criticism we are so fortunate to have this hospital in our town.
Having had frequent visits over the last few weeks for various procedures and scans I would like to thank all of the staff at YDH.During every visit, I was treated with the upmost care , dignity, and professionalism
