Had phone call from ward 4 yesterday to say that my mother in law was being transferred to another hospital, very friendly staff on the ward apart from 1 rude nurse ( but always get 1). My mother in law was there for 9 weeks on total in that time she had a fall with lovely crack to the face and head and she was overdosed on anticoagulant. At first getting updates from the docter was a struggle and getting to see the docter was none excistant, but a massive to rose the family liason qho rang every week sometimes more to see if anything was needed, so mixed review always liked singleton and always will.

I would like to thank Mr Francis Saunders at RACE clinic. Who discovered I was suffering from Shingles. Because of his thorough examination and diagnosis. And medication my eye is returning back to its original sight. Many Thanks to him X

our beautiful twinnies couldn’t stay in for much longer 🥹…. They decided to make an appearance via c-section on Thursday 22nd September 2022 (33weeks and 5days) ♥️ it’s fair to say it’s been one emotional week for me Tom and the family🥹 Firstly We’d like to thank all labour ward staff and midwife’s at SINGLETON HOSPITAL Swansea for making myself and Tom feel so comfortable and welcome it did not go unnoticed, the consultants and team for giving me and Tom an unforgettable experience! Especially “aka Matt and Dave” for making the whole situation calm, relaxed and entertaining 🥰 and finally the neonatal baby unit! We could not praise you guys up enough from being so understanding, professional, welcoming and caring! Especially Dr Ndftur (Sree) You went above and beyond for our beautiful babies we genuinely cannot thank you enough!

Gynaecology centre is shocking. The secretary I had was never in, never answered her phone. I have tried to contact others but can’t get through, I have left countless messages and none have been answered. Really sad considering I waited on the waiting list for so long to not even be attended to.
Update:
After a long process I finally saw the gynaecologist Ms Knight a couple times, she failed to diagnose me and after and nhs investigation she made numerous mistakes even calculating a test wrong. Thankfully I saw a private gynaecologist who diagnosed me in 10 minutes with a simple calculation. The gynaecologist here was impossible to contact and get an appointment with, it definitely wasn’t worth it as she recommend birth control as an easy solution without finding the problem.
Do not recommend waiting on a waiting list, then on the receptionist, then on an appointment list to see this gynaecologist.

I would like to thank all the staff at Ward 2 for the wonderful treatment I received yesterday when I had my Operation. They were all extremely kind caring and hard working. They all deserve a huge rise. They showed all the patients kindness and empathy and went above and beyond to help us all. Amazing treatment. Second to none.

I was admitted to Singleton in Early December and was there for 4 nights. I am simply writing this review because I wish that I was able to compensate somehow, for the excellent care that the lovely staff provided me with during my time there. I am really thankful for the kindness and effort that the staff members in the whole hospital showed towards me, from the receptionist, to the MRI staff, to the X-Ray staff, to the gentleman who wheeled me to the X-ray room, the cleaners, the catering staff, the nurses who took care of me each day by giving me my medication and taking my vitals, and the doctors who diagnosed me. They really went above and beyond by ensuring that I was able to keep in contact with my family and that I was well informed about my health. Also thank you to the nurse who's name I will keep private but keep me in high spirits by having conversations about football and music whilst he was checking my vitals. NHS staff really need a significant pay rise and I am sad that this is the only way I feel that I can repay them for their excellent care.
