This practice is shameful. My partners been with this practice since he was a child . He’s now 56. Called to make an appointment. The nurse rang him back same day and gave him an appointment for a few days later.
The day his appointment came he turned up to be told that he was forgotten to be booked in . While there he was told that the nurse would call to rearrange another appointment.
And also told him he needs to find another doctors as he’s no longer in their catchment area and has 30 days to do that and he will receive a letter.

So in the meantime, still had no call .
And you’d think that in that 30 days grace , he would be seen .
Where’s the duty of care ?

This Practice is an utter disgrace - once you have queued on the phone for 40+ minutes - what do you have to do to actually get an appointment to see a doctor?
The NHS England website says that patients can now choose if they would like a phone appointment or face to face appointment. Obviously Willowbrook haven't received this memo!!!
Come on Willowbrook - wake up and catch up!!!
However reading the reviews on here it looks as if no improvements are being put in place as everyone has the same issues over and over.
Surely some external auditors should be looking at Patient feedback and addressing the issues accordingly with the Practice
.

Denied treatment today due to not wearing a face mask 12 07 2022 2.30pm
Members of the staff were rude and abusive.
One nurse actually called me "disgusting"
And that I should "get gone"
The nurse that I had the appointment with stated that she would not deal with me and asked me to leave the surgery.
The receptionist attempted to hand me a mask.
I declined to wear the mask and the receptionist told me that she would inform the nurse.
Not one member of staff asked me if I had a legitimate reason for not wearing a mask.
They all instantly grouped together and removed me from the practice.
I have found a lump in my groin that I'm worried could possibly be cancer.
I would like to know where to go from here?
I have been suffering with my breathing recently due to having hay fever, combine these issues with my job.
I'm currently working for
the local authority environmental services dept as a grass cutter, both the heat and dust not to mention pollen has made breathing rather difficult.
I have no problem wearing a face covering but I was under the illusion that if a person had breathing difficulties then allowances could be made.
I'm deeply saddened by these
comments and would like some feedback before I make my complaints formal.
Regards

Excellent. Swift reaction to an urgent concern. I had a telephone consultation with a face-to-face follow-up. GPs were very competent and really helpful. I felt listened to. Considering how busy everyone must be at the moment, the experience was excellent. Very helpful lady at reception.

Trying to get an appointment is unbelievable, then to be questioned by the receptionist and be expected to divulge all the details of illness. Really Really bad, would not recommend to anyone useless is the word. When you do speak to a doctor they don't even bother reading your notes at all and you feel rushed and inconveniencing them.

Visited a month ago and was told to come back if things got worse so i tried. Could not get even a telephone conversation yesterday, only half an hour after opening. Today I booked a telephone appointment for 10:30 through the NHS app as suggested yesterday. By 11:30 I called to check the booking was completed correctly as I had still not had a call only to be told appointment times on the NHS app are pointless and cannot be guaranteed but I will be contacted before the end of the day. So based on my physical condition needing to be physically seen I guess I am now waiting until next week regardless of how much pain, as I can almost guarantee all face to face appointments will already be taken (now 13:30). Been with this surgery since I was a child but I think it's time to move!

I've been going here since I was born, but as I've gotten older I've only realised how terrible it can be. Don’t get me wrong, the Dr's are great and do their job, but they open at 8:30, and booking a appointment is by phone only, I diled the number at 8:30 precisely and I was in position number 13 IN THE QUE! I think they either need to sort their system out, or let people do walk in appointments again :)

Refused treatment and discriminated by the reception staff and manager today its disgusting i would not recommend this place to my worst enemy plus they are injecting people without fully informed consent doing medical experiments. Be aware of this place.
