Excellent hospital staff, many of whom will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Facilities are generally clean, treatment teams are well-organised and efficient, and the food is balanced and tasty (and I have been very impressed with the gluten free options available as a coeliac). Thank you to all the staff who have made my fairly extended stay in hospital as pleasant an experience as possible: all the nurses, doctors and health care assistants work incredibly hard and care a great deal about their patients. I will forever be grateful for the life-saving treatment I have received.

Richard is the friendly voice on the other side of the phone when I have to confirm my CT scan every year. So friendly! As are the other staff members I have had the pleasure of being in contact with. They take the fear out of a stressful situation!

Terrible experience for my partner giving birth in there !
Dirty hospital, old blood on ceiling! missed meals, no communication between staff. Midwife did a hand-over as my child’s head was showing and said I’m very sorry my shift ends now and I need to get going!! as my partner was mid push. Disgusting.

Terrible service!
Most staff, not all Staff..Don’t seem to care for patient's welfare.
Going down hill fast.
Wouldn’t put my worst enemy in there.

Disgraceful excuse for a hospital. My sisters fiance was rushed here from the Winchester area for an emergency scan on Friday afternoon, they tried to send him home Friday night at 10pm without him having a scan, only to change their mind due to lack of communication between different departments. If they had sent him home he'd more than likely be paralysed now. It's Saturday night 10.30pm now & they still haven't decided what to do with him. He hasn't been given any food since he's been there & he hasn't eaten since Thursday due to being in so much pain. They may transfer him to Southampton hospital tomorrow but they can't make their minds up. Bloody awful way to treat a human being, if he was an animal the rspca would be involved!

Probably the quickest I have ever been through A&E. In and out within 2hours, probably closer to 1.5hours! Very professional, very friendly, very helpful, the gentleman that ‘fixed me’ went above and beyond and had a great sense of humour, as did the lady who carried out my x-ray! I don’t plan to go back, but definitely changed the way I view/feel about this hospital.

The waiting area was over crowded, nurses and doctors especially were rude and didnt care about patient care at all.
They came round to take your bloods and pressure in-front of other patients, also asked why you were at the a&e department in-front of all other patients so there was no privacy at all, you Couldve literally been dying on the floor and nurses would walk past like youre a bit of gum on the pavement. There was water all over the floor which is a health and safety issue, rubbish all over the floor so cleanliness was a big fat 0, tea and coffee was offered which was lovely if there was any hot water, older patients were offered 1 thin blankets while they sat in the freezing cold, I could continue but the words i would like to personally say wouldn't be very nice.

I have had to visit this hospital twice this week, the first time in A&E and the second for an ultrasound scan and then SDEC for results, I have to say in this crisis I was terrified and yes I spent a long time there but the staff were all “kindness itself”, all went above and beyond to reassure me and make sure I was comfortable and cared for. These people are national treasures and need to be respected and rewarded for their sheer dedication.

Had to take my daughter on new years eve. Staff were so helpful, and professional. We were seen quickly with xray, bloods and a drip plus diagnosis all.being done within 4 hours. Thank you to all staff, doctors, nurses, and admin.
