I spoke to Melinda who was nothing less than amazing. She helped me when I was trying to sort out my mums vaccinations records out when she had to leave the country to go to a funeral. And Melinda was just so helpful in getting in contact with the GP surgery as it was done in a pop up clinic and not our regular GP.

Once I got in contact with Melinda it was like a fast track to getting the records sorted.

Thank youuu again for all your help and support at such a hard time xx

Totally unbelievable! One star for WBC is one too many!
Greatly reduced opening hours!
For those that don't know WBC is now only open to visitors on Monday and Friday 9am - 3pm and Wednesday 11am - 5pm! That's just 18 hours a week!! Less than a three day week! So I can't visit or telephone to resolve my current issue on my only day off which is one of the days they are closed!
In the absence of actually being able to see someone face to face and trying to get a question answered or action taken, the WBC online access is a nightmare, too! Nothing is simple! Believe me, I've tried several times! I have so far had to 'register' with two different departments in the past and am now being told to register with another one for my current issue. And none of the many online options I get offered actually address my issue anyway!
It's so frustrating! Whatever happened to friendly, easy to access, customer service? This is not a 'user friendly' council helping its residents at all! It's totally the opposite!
WBC do not even deserve one star but unless you give them one you can't leave a review! So actually this means that the review rating for WBC isn't true anyway and that their overall score is probably less than the shameful two stars they currently get!

Illegal Conduct
This Council sells double the parking spaces it knows it has available, then charges £70 per day when residents cannot park in their own road due to overcrowding. It's exploitation and it's disgusting.

I can not call you, I can not make a report online, No way to make contact. Clearly you are so high above us that we can not even make contact with your divine highnesses. Please increase our taxes for this year again, since that is all we deserve.

So many cars on the watford 'high street road' blocking the traffic but no one cares. You get a penality if you are parked in a valid parking space. Ridiculous.. Seems like all that watford council wants is money, not better roads. Also please fix the pot holes. Paying huge council tax seems like a robbery of our hard earned money living in watford.

Natalie in the Housing Department is the rudest and least professional person I've ever heard down the phone. My nephew is homeless and in a desperate situation. When he spoke to Natalie about his options, she was uncompassionate, unprofessional and belligerent, and she hung up on my him when he asked her name. She continued to hang up when he called back and I was only able to find out what her name was when I called back from a different phone. It disgusts me that she is allowed to deal with vulnerable people in this way. Shame on Watford Council for the way they allow this woman to treat people. Would give negative stars if I could.

My green and brown bin were not emptied while my blue one was. I renewed the charge for this service, I have the code 6503632 with sticker showing 21/22. That shows me that I have paid for the current year.
As today is Saturday, our bin day being Friday, I have been unable to contact the council today and could not get through to write an email as my username and password were rejected even when I tried to update the password. What to do? This is very annoying, could someone please look into this (my) problem and let me know why this happened?
