School teachers are very lovely but location wise its big chaos no street parking available at nursery side in the school drop off and pickup times. parents, staffs arguing over wrong parkings and same time parents struggling to park at double yellow line to pick or drop council booking issuing penalties.

Very rude staff. Standards have gone really low. Rude and arrogant teachers.

Was once one of the best schools in the north of England, but since it turned into an Academy it has dramatically gone downhill. I was once proud to say I went to this school (early to mid 80's) but no more, the kids who live close to and go to this school now have turned it into shadow of what it was. Decades of history and achievement destroyed.

My daughter goes here. So far I can't fault it. I thought it might be full of snobs, which was a worry but my daughter assures me it's not. She gets chances to go on alot trips and experiences. Shes achieving high in all subjects. If iv needed help or advice and contacted different teachers, iv always had a response. Even in out of hours work. Which is lovely. It says they care about their students. I felt great pride my daughter getting in to a grammar school. I just hope that standards don't slip with it becoming an academy.

Very rude staff. Standards have gone really low. Rude and arrogant teachers. Only a few teachers remain with a good heart. Believe me I've learnt from experience.
