Quested House

The whole family decided to do a special Christmas get together this year and we originally chose Brighton. Eight weeks before this booking was cancelled! My niece searched again and found Quested. We had to decide quickly as we were running out of options. It turned out to be the best decision! The house was amazing, elegant, cosy and everything a family could wish for. Andy, the owner was so helpful and kind. He decorated the house so tastefully! We were made to feel ‘special and welcome’. He thought of everything. We had lovely walks as we were close to the sea and town. Although we felt very private and exclusive in our grand house 😍
The hot tub was an added bonus and evenings were spent relaxing and talking.
Quality time spent by all! Thank you thank you 😊 the best Christmas ever!!!

9 of us stayed at Quested House at the end of February and had a fantastic time.
Location - just minutes from the train station and the small town of Westgate-on-Sea which has well stocked shops and some good places to eat. If you are driving there is ample parking. Very easy to get to the water front and walk the promenade to Margate
Facilities - could not ask for more. Have never rented a home with such amazing facilities. Everything you could need from shampoo and body wash to an inbuilt coffee machine.
Accommodation - the house is very spacious and can very easily accommodate large groups. We didn't even use the dining room and one sitting room! The rooms are all a good size, the steam/shower room is awesome.
Garden - would be fabulous in summer. It's huge! However we did make use of the fantastic hot tub.
The host - Andy is amazing. We had a small issue with the heating when we arrived but he was on to it immediately. You know a good host by the way they deal with an issue. He knew who to call, did so and the plumber went all out to get the heating going for us. We were made to feel totally at home and knew that if we did need to get in contact that he was just a phone call away.
I 100% recommend a stay at Quested House, you won't regret it!

Amazing house! Elegant old world manor house. Well equipped with everything you need for a large group. Fabulous hot tub and gardens. Walking distance to the sea. Wonderful place.

We have just returned from a stay at Quested House and on behalf of the whole group , I would like to thank Andy the property owner for welcoming us into his beautiful home.

The house is absolutely stunning and full of character and charm. The attention to detail from the owner and throughout the house is exceptional, we were particularly impressed with the wonderful kitchen which is so spacious and equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and the SONOS speakers throughout the house.

The house was spotlessly clean and the garden and surrounding grounds were immaculately maintained. We were very impressed with the location of the house which is conveniently located close to the train station, shops and beach.

Amazing memories have been made and we are so happy to have chosen quested house as our venue .

Would highly recommend this property to groups looking for a house which offers sophisticated luxury in a relaxed and accomodating setting.

We arranged a hen weekend at Quested's in March 2022 and what a fantastic time we had. Andy was so helpful with the planning. We originally booked 3 years ago and had to put off due to covid but Andy was brilliant the whole way through. The house is very well equipt and absolutely beautiful. The grounds and hot tub were fab and there is plenty of room. I would highly recommend this house for a getaway with a big group. Marina the housekeeper was also fab and nothing was too much trouble.
