The Hardware Centre

The store is now in a bigger building on the opposite side of the street as shown in the picture. Along with the normal hardware they have a wide variety of items from kitchen, to laundry, gardening, batteries, pocket knives etc. Sometimes I like to just go in and look at the interesting selection. One nice asspect of the store is that they sell many items in just ones. This allows you to purchase just what you need and not an entire pack. The staff are usually ready to help you.

Now everything is under one roof its easier to find what you need from a single screw to a le creuset casserole and everything in between. Heard it described as an Aladdin's Cave where you can find things you didn't even know you needed.

Always very helpful and have a good selection of hardware fittings and cooking equipment and tools. Screws and bolts are especially good value and you can buy a single screw or a whole box.

This is a really well-stocked, independent, hardware and cookware shop with friendly staff.
