McKays Hardware Calor Gas Centre

Good people, very well stocked and fair prices. I've bought loads from them and I've always been happy. I'm particularly pleased with an SDS percussion drill that he ordered for me, it was nearly 10 years ago and it's still going strong after lots of use, and I've never seen 1 as cheap since.

Great place. Surprisingly well stocked for such a small fronted shop (it goes back a long way). Always seems to have what I need for DIY jobs, and they do a very good and very reasonably priced selection of fireworks which certainly helped my New Year go off with a bang.

Good D.I.Y. shop for Decoration and cleaning materials etc.

They don't have much in the way of paint.

Really like this hardware store as it's family run, staff go the extra mile. They stock a lot of items in a confined space so be aware social distances are unavoidable. It's a convenient small to medium sized store for those who can't get to a giant superstore for d.i.y items. They're helpful & friendly, always a plus in my book. A local gem.

Very friendly and helpful with lots of choices at reasonable prices. They also sell fireworks at new year's and presumably bonfire night too.

Been using this hardware shop 15 years or more. Friendly. Well stocked small shop. Also sells good fireworks in season.
