Had badly stained a teak chest by standing a damp brass tub on it for months. Dark black stain of copper tannate I suspect. Tried scrubbing it with Barkeepers friend moist paste (oxalic acid based). Worked fine and in under 2 hours took stain away completely. Very pleased with service and discussion with owner of the shop. Good tip for others with similar wood stain problem. Great shop for chemicals.

This is one of those wonderful little shops which is able to supply most of the items needed by the diy handyman. Most shops like this have been squeezed out by the large diy stores and it is a real delight to find a store still managing to survive in the current enviroment where personal service is readilly available.
