Finally a zero waste shop in the area, full of choices, good quality products and fair prices. It has most of what I need and they keep adding new things. Very nice and helpful staff! Highly recommend to help reduce waste and eat tasty food

I love this place, I come every few weeks to restock on household + pantry items. Plus they have soooo many spices.

Great shop! I’m really impressed with the range of spices, pulses, pasta, nuts and cleaning supplies they carry. The prices are really good too. I’ll be back soon to swap out my toiletries for plastic-free options as I run out.

They have a lot of unpacked goods that I have not been able to find elsewhere. Prices are reasonable. Really good selection. Friendly, helpful and super patient staff.

First time at BYO today, it was brilliant!! Their range is so much bigger than it looks on insta or anywhere else. I don't know why someone's left a bad review about the staff because the lady behind the counter was nothing but kind, welcoming and chatty! (maybe the customer was being rude/entitled? 🤷‍♀️).
The shop itself is quite small but it can't be helped, and I think the system of weighing your container etc works really well. The prices are also really reasonable, and the brands they stock are ethical and smell divine, I left happy and will definitely be returning as a regular! Great shop 😁

BYO in Nunhead has done an amazing job at making everyone who comes in feel super comfortable, especially if this way of shopping is new to you, I feel like part of the family now. BYO was the first place I ever shopped by refilling my own jars and the girls are always happy to help and tell you how to do it, and provide any info etc on the products. They also don't mind if you make (within reason) a mess, as come on, the odd spill happens from time to time. The produce is great, sourced fairly and priced fair too - I usually save money shopping this way as you're not paying for brands or the packaging. They now have two stores, household and grocery and both are fab. Highly recommend, it's become my go-to and you feel so good supporting an ethical, local and small indie business - plus I always leave having chatted to the staff and other customers, such a nicer way to shop and such a better place to put your money.

Love going here. Not only are they fully aware and set up for social distancing, they also have just about every dried good and cleaning/liquid goods for the house anyone could need. And to top it off, entirely sustainable and planet conscious. Top marks
