Hollingwood Hub (Chesterfield Canal Trust)

Great walk from Hollingwood Hub cafe to Tapton Lock paths easy to walk some a little muddy due to time of the year but a great walk for all seasons and ages.

It was lovely cruising down the river on a skippered Canal Boat with afternoon tea, great crew, really friendly and helpful.
Would highly recommend

Brilliant place to stop when visiting the canal. The hub has a shop and cafe with toilets. Boat trips are available Saturdays. Large free carpark check for gate closure times.good towpath for cycles or walking.

Keep up the good work, this is a charitable society that is going somewhere, I only wish I lived nearby so I could help. The cafe was excellent and the shop next to it well worth a visit with Miles of canal walks in the area.

Lovely setting for a stop-off along the canal.
Cafe is rather basic, latte average.
Singular shop bought gluten free choice in wrapper so gave that a miss.

We had a group cruise on the canal on the Madelaine. Very pleasant trip on this oeaceful canal.

Visited this place, whilst out cycling and had lunch and coffee, at Katey's coffee shop. What a lovely spot, right next to the canal. Not much indoor seating, but plenty seating outside - some of which is under a canopy. I found this very useful, when it started to rain!

Love walk along the canal path to the hub from Staveley and returned later. went Katie's cafe which was clean and tidy, food is lovely and reasonably priced
