Beautiful peaceful location where we were able to park right next to the castle. The castle is fenced off due to safety measures but it didn't diminish the visit in any way.

Nice and scenic. You wont spend long at the castle itself as there is not much of it and very little information around it. Beautiful castle ruins but that's about it. I wouldn't go out my way to see it but if you're in the area worth a quick look.

The surroundings of Invergarry Castle are beautiful. There is not much of the castle itself left but its a great back dropI
for an easy forest walk or a great spot to stop for a picnic.

Secluded little stop off. We were the only people there. The castle ruins are fascinating although fenced off for safety. We mooched along the short track alongside the loch and played with the dog in the water. Felt like our own little secret place! Great little stop off.

We visited Invergarry Caslte on route to our holiday destination. There is a small single road that leads to the castle from the main road. The castle is as quite badly ruined with a fence surrounding it to keep people out for their own safety as it has seen better days. The best thing about this location is that it's free to view which means it's worthwhile visiting if you are passing.

Very interesting old castle ruins. You can still see the remains of the staircase on the outside of the castle. Such a shame there isn't more left to see.
Great views over the loch, plus there is a lovely hotel nearby if you fancy a tea, coffee and cake or even a meal in their restaurant.
Parking is available at the hotel but not the castle.

Impressive castle ruins in a quiet spot a short way off the main road. Dramatic to see but a little more information on site about the castle would have been good to see. There are a few parking spaces at the castle; the ruins themselves are fenced off but provide a good stop on the route to Skye.

There's really not much left of poor old Invergarry Castle, and you can't get to what does remain on account of it looking like it's about to fall over. It's hidden away down the drive to a hotel, and not well signposted, so I'd only suggest going if you've got a particular interest. There is a small parking bay (big enough for a couple of cars) just off the hotel drive.
