Lovely quiet place and friendly people. Mostly residential. Good for people who like walking and plenty of dog walkers here. The Kingfisher bar is always well stocked and is clean and warm. Different entertainment during the week.
Good food and very friendly and staff. This place enjoys getting involved with themed events and decor to go with it.

I went for a kids birthday party. Staff at the pub was able to direct me to the right place. And gave cash back without me having to purchase anything, as the bar at the hall for the party didn't have cash back facility. Only had cups of tea which was £1 per cup.

Lived here for about 10 years. Until closure of the Kingfisher bar and restaurant just over 2 years ago (forced upon the tenants by onerous conditions imposed by the site owner) the site was great. We were next door to the KF and regular visitors, knowing the tenants and all the staff - it was the life and soul of the park. After the KF closed, everything started to go downhill. The final straw for us was when the owner refused to let us pay our site fees by monthly direct debit, something we had been doing for years. Enough was enough. We sold our caravan (another story) and moved off. The site owner is obnoxious and cares nothing for the folk who occupy his many sites. We've since heard that he's pressurising other residents, with some following the route we took. Do not use Island Meadow Parks for your static caravan. You will eventually regret it.

As per Andrew Cicheon we were forced to leave. We were given 11 days notice to remove our van from the site. This notice was given by email 2 days after being told we could pay the remainder of our site fees by direct debit. To cap it all the very next day the THEN manager ,Alan Hayden, cut off all our utilities leaving us with no electric, gas or water and leaving us to pack our belongings in the cold and damp with no thought for my disabled husband. This was despite the fact we owed nothing and our site license was still valid. The old management were toxic and the owner is obnoxious and money grabbing. No facilities on site at all. Not worth visiting.

Kingfisher Bar is a great place to eat and has entertainment, quizzes and parties going on. The site is well kept and peaceful. However the bar was closed many months ago and stands empty. The guy who ran the bar now runs Burgh Hall which is close. The site now has a new Manager but not met him yet. Watch out for the speed humps on the main road into the park. As a resident, the electric bills have nearly tripled for many.

Giving one star....because I can't give zero!! This used to be a lovely friendly place with a lively, popular bar & a reputation for good food. Unfortunately, the bar closed (though has since reopened) & the site has changed hands...I believe it was the previous owners son who has now took over....& he is a complete & utter A....hole!! If you are thinking of buying a caravan here....a few words of advice...DON'T UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! Previous loyal tenants who have lived their many years enjoying a good relationship with previous owners are now having their lives turned upside down by increasingly unreasonable demands from this greedy B...... Such a shame...but I will take comfort in the fact that 'what goes around comes around' & I believe He will eventually pay a heavy price for his greed & intransigence :-( xx

Nice quiet place, great for short breaks, however no recycling bins on site, ended up taking all glass and plastic back to London
