This is great little holiday park most of the people have residents here but there are some you can rent out. The club house has events most weekends such as bingo or djs and the food is pretty good.

Great stay for families, lots of fun things to do and the area is beautiful. The staff were super helpful and friendly too. We stayed in the shepherd's hut and it had all we needed, toilet, plates, cups and utensils, kettle, toaster, electric radiator, hand wash and toilet roll in the bathroom.

Another great stay in the safari tent. They have been updated since our last visit with more electric sockets & lights, full oven, dishwasher and even a drinks cooler. Staff sorted out everything for us. We’ll be back next year

Placement of park is lovely. You're right by the estuary with plenty of coastal walks, and beautiful places to visit.

We were camping, the camping field was smaller than expected, with a car next to the tent there was not much room to sit and relax outside. The left hand side only had pitches half the way down, which left room for children to play however they chose to play in the path of cars leaving the field. We had one incident where the truck was parked outside our tent, cooker in between and two young boys and a football came tumbling up to the cooker. Thank goodness I had not started cooking yet.

As for the facilities, the showers in the same field the heads are not great and they don't drain. The toilets are nice though. As for the facilities opposite the stargazers they are like family rooms, toilet, sink and rainfall shower per cubical. Those aren't too bad. However one morning the water did get too hot. To finish my shower I had to turn the tap on to try and make the shower cooler.

The bar was nice, it has AC, the pool table and outside is a small play area for kids. I didn't see anywhere to grab food on the evening. The cafe near the bar closed before tea time.

From a touring/camping pov- this site has gone downhill. Guests in the other accommodations rule the roost and campers/caravanners have to deal with the noise and general disregard for what was a beautiful site. 'Quiet times' were not adhered to despite the hard work of Andy, the wonderful site warden, and lots not Starr on the noise from the road in and out of the park which was the noisiest it has ever been with lorries and trucks arriving from 5am crashing and banging over the speed bumps... and even up until 10.30 at night. Not great if you are in a tent or caravan. As regular customers for over 6 years - I doubt we will be back. Such a shame as the site was sooooo lovely.

Had a great weekend. One thing that would be useful is disabled access ramps for wheelchairs.
