Liked: Absolutely loved the stay. We have been for 3 nights and it was clearly not enough. It was a good fun for everyone, little kids enjoyed the playground with sand, the elder one enjoyed the Basketball pitch. That's a shame we didn't have the football ball as we would love to kick it on the pitch as well. Plenty of space, loads of things to do. Absolutely amazing swimming pool for very little ones and for adults. Very clean and all health and safety measures. Very good service and friendly receptionists, good shop. Very clean and spacious toilet and shower blocks.
Really enjoyed the stay

Disliked: As adults we didn't have anything to dislike. The only thing kids disliked is very poor network so they could not enjoy their gadgets. (But who needs gadgets in camping?🤷🏼‍♀️)

Liked: LOVED this site. The pool was brilliant - really well maintained with life guards supervising at all times. The facilities were clean and well presented. The pitches were spacious and the site was well looked after. Brilliant for families with young children. A well stocked shop too. Great distance to Wimborne Minster with plenty of lovely pubs nearby.

Liked: We had a very warm welcome and a lovely stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, which is particularly important as our two children are autistic, the youngest also having ADHD.
The swimming pool was a particular highlight. Having a band system where you book for an hours session was really helpful as the pool didn't become overcrowded and there were plenty of sunbeds available.
The facilities were clean and accessible and the shop was well stocked. The fish and chip van on Mondays was an added bonus!
The quiet time of 10pm-8am was perfect for a family site.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: Great facilities for kids - we were travelling with an 18-month toddler and 4yr old.
They loved the pool and play park.
The serviced pitch was great, first time that we have stayed on a pitch with water, drainage and electricity. Unfortunate timing on our part was that our pump packed up before we went away so couldn't take advantage of the water supply...but we rolled with it and was great nevertheless.
The location of the park was also fairly good, it's about 45 mins to Swanage which has a lovely beach which we did on our first full day, and also about 20-25 mins to Upton Country Park which is definitely worth a visit if you have little ones.
Brilliant play park, water fountain/jets, pottery painting, cafe...the list goes on!

Disliked: We arrived on the August bank holiday Sunday afternoon and the park was RAMMED. To be expected if you're a seasoned peak time holidayer, which we are not!
As you would expect there was a fair bit of noise and some loud-ish music coming from a large group of people that went on quite late, but they did respect the 10pm curfew - fair play!
The only other thing worth mentioning was the family shower room - very clean and well kept which is brilliant, but there is only 1 of them. For a park that is clearly attracting people with families, I think they could do with at least another room.
We stood outside waiting for another family to finish in there for 30 mins. We couldn't really leave and come back as it was nowhere near the pitch we had.
A minor inconvenience in the scheme of things, but wasn't fun at the time!

We stayed here from the Friday to the Sunday and had a lovely time. We really did like our pitch 56 great location under the trees for shade as it was very hot.
The staff where welcoming and kind with any contact.
The showers were acceptable but perhaps could do with updating in the future.
A great break many thanks

Liked: Swimming pool, large area to enjoy with children, football etc, playground. Shower and toilet Facilities were great including a shop with all essentials you might need or forgotten. Very friendly staff and informative. ( and was very helpful when I needed help with the chemical toilet 😬)
Site felt very safe which gave children freedom to ride their bikes around.
Took my 8 and 5 year old and they throughly enjoyed their stay, as did I.
Thank you, will definitely see us again.

It was just perfect for us😀 . We had the tent under the tree's, toilets they were clean ,that means you can put your cheeks on a toilet seat. Showers needs maybe a bit more scrubbing (the tiles). Nothing major ,perhaps is the colour of them.😀. I would suggest a bigger freezer for the ice-pack's.. The ground's keeper was very helpful when needed just some safety-pins. Good idea with the bathtub for dog's,,you can wash them from salty water 😀. Love that. Happy days. 😀 And the most important thing, the other campers,,,,pretty good bunch 😀.

Really impressed with the outdoor facilities here, swimming pool (with lifeguards), playground, basketball, tennis and a football pitch. Indoor entertainment is lacking but the Wilksworth site has a sister site where indoor facilities are more available.
With the hot weather of 2022 the swimming pool was very popular with my children and they were always collecting wrist bands to attend a swimming session.
Staying in a tent, the pitches were big and gave adequate space between tents.
Cars are left in a car park, so this gives an element of extra space and safety for patrons in the tent field.
