Liked: Large field with plenty of space and a fantastic park. The onsite shop is reasonable priced and handy for the children to buy ice lollies. Bar staff were lovely as was the chap at the mini disco. The site is very clean and friendly. Great access to the canal for a lovely walk.

Disliked: A very, noisy site. The entertainment for the bar was blasted throughout the camp site until 11.30pm, children running around shouting well after midnight. Did not see a warden.

The showers and toilets could do with updating and wasn't told about the £10 cash deposit.

Liked: Lovely site with good play area for the kids, Which they enjoyed playing with other children on the site. Beautiful walks along the canal with lots of things to spot , fish , butterflies and birds . Big camping field for kids to run around and play. Well stocked shop , which makes a lovely cup of tea 😊and has lovely fresh fruit . Strawberries and oranges where delicious 😋.Lovely little bar on site , we didn’t sit in as we had our dog so only allowed in beer garden which was fine as the weather was lovely and they play music into the beer garden . They do nice food if you don’t want to cook. The fish and chips looked lovely (home cooked chips) but unfortunately they had ran out . Lovely friendly staff on site , Lovely breakfast barms at the snack windows served from 10-12 . Good warm showers in shower block .

Disliked: Animal (sheep or cow possibly) poo on field, which we had to pick up to pitch up tent ect . No toilet roll in toilets , they give you 1 toilet roll to keep , but with a family of four that gets used quickly so we had to buy more. £10 deposit needed in cash on arrival which if you don’t have cash is inconvenient to go back out and get some especially if you have been travelling with kids and they are excited to arrive and get set up. Very Limited food menu (no healthy options) and they had ran out of certain meals .

Liked: The camp site in general was superb, facilities, shop, bar, park were all excellent and didn't feel like we were getting ripped off.
Staff were amazing, friendly and chatty, locals extremely helpful.
Really happy and I would go back.

Disliked: Toilet and shower facilities,
Unable to change water temperature, it was quite hot (not ideal for kids to stand under), toilets were as expected when catering for so many over a weekend.
Lack of good WiFi

Liked: Superb camp site. Nice, clean, flat, spacious field. Great little pub and club room. Dancing and games for the kids. Even a visit and a ride in Optimus Prime! Fab little Shop for essentials. Oh and the kids loved the park area. Lovely friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: Shower and toilets could do with a re-vamp soon ish. Or extra cleaning, as they got very grassy and dirty. (To be expected when camping really) but showers were nice and hot.

Liked: The pub was good
Toilets and showers were clean and warm
The play area was very good.
The staff were polite.

Disliked: The amount of animal faeces on the grass
The fact that no warden was on duty in the evening as amount of people that ignored the rules (music/noise until midnight)

Liked: Excellent site with great bar area to watch the football or sit outside in the sun, they had a live singer on Saturday 27th which was brilliant (didn't catch his name unfortunately) but would highly recommend watching him. Staff in the shop / bar area all very polite and friendly. Bar prices are good, shop prices aren't too bad either.

had nice / friendly neighbours each side of us which is also a bonus

good play area for the kids

would definitely recommend and will return next year!

Disliked: main issue for us was the amount of poo on the field, with having a young child couldn't really let him wander around the tent area incase he picked any up so made it a bit frustrating.

not the sites fault but some Muppets playing music till gone 4am whom also had small children.. good parenting!!

Shower area could do with a deep clean, and maybe a few extra shower blocks.
