Robert Dyas Tonbridge

I cannot begin to describe the horrific experience I had when I visited Robert Dyas this afternoon. I had walked many miles from the depths of the Sahara Desert when we had reached Tonbridge; our resources were running low and we decided to call in at Robert Dyas to purchase a fridge to keep our low water supplies cool for the night. We planned to use the few shillings we had left to buy it, but when we reached the door, a middle-aged man turned us away. I had to ask him multiple times to clarify that he was sending a group of thirsty Africans away from the shop, but alas, he had the nerve to do this. My poor son Njawakali was reduced to tears; I had never before seen such sorrow! Even my eldest son Jillakajamniela had a quivering bottom lip. Thus, we spent the night without chilled water, but due to the wisdom of God, we pulled through. Or at least we thought we had, but the greatest tragedy ensued. My daughter Wallatallah awoke in the early hours of dawn with symptoms of a stomach bug due to unrefrigerated meat, after her third seizure we transferred her to the local hospital. Many prayers and hours later, she sadly passed away in a coma. Had it not been for that unfriendly shopkeeper, we would have had a pleasant and safe night. As a result of his behaviour, I lost my daughter on that fateful night. Revenge will be sweet!

I have used Robert Dyas stores for many years, in London and in Kent ..... always excellent and extremely helpful .... they have some amazing bargains .... well done Theo & Team ....

Great place for household and garden products a very good range of DIY products, the staff are generally helpful and knowledgeable. The store is quite expensive but the products are of the better quality

Went in yesterday to buy a few things and was apprehended by a lady when i entered the store to tell me i had to wear a mask. i explained that i do not wear a face covering and like to breathe fresh air. This is the first time i have been asked about covering my face in 2020 and i do not appreciate people working in retail trying to "police" unlawful regulations

Tonbridge Robert Dyas is the best shop on the high street! Staff are always helpful. They always acknowledge your presence in the store with a cheery smile and are willing to discuss their products and help to find the best solution.

Great priced incinerator, good quality and with a smile from the cashier. What's not to love. I wish there was a Robert Dyas near me.
