Homebase - Cambridge (including Bathstore)

What a pleasant surprise to find a Homebase! Thought you'd gone bust and disappeared three or four years ago. Certainly none that I ever see further north than you.

Really rude manager. Needs to learn some manners. Spoke to my children in a very rude way and accused them of things theyhadnt done because he thought they were other children, admitted he had made a mistake, but refused to apologise to them because they were children. They were upset quite clearly and quite rightly. This man needs to get a job that is not customer facing as he has no manners at all and is a disgrace to a family friendly store.

One of the worst Homebase stores in the country, shabby looking inside and out, needs a complete makeover. Staff at tills not great, unable to accept cash, useless.

Very disappointed with the unhelpful staff I encountered who couldn't be bothered to check if they had stock of a item . Very poor service 🙁

DON'T DO CLICK AND COLLECT. Their stock levels are incorrect. I made an order on their website which claimed there were multiple items in stock. They phoned me half an hour later and said they can't find them. Trouble is, they already took my money and it will now take 5 working days to get it back.....

Mechandise are attractive and a lot of things I want to buy. However, when I raised my questions, the customer service staff wearing smile on her face didn't give me any solid help (Sorry! It's only my personal feeling). Finally, I purchased from Homebase net shop.

Came in here Wednesday to pick up an item, and quite enjoyed just walking around and browsing. Some lovely velvet bar stools and chairs (dream)… and the staff pleasant and friendly.

This Homebase store was well laid out and very clean. I came in to buy a new toilet seat, but these stores give you so much inspiration for your home and garden, I left with a few more bits and pieces for the home and the garden. Prices are very competitive.
