My friend and I have had 4 lessons so far and really enjoy learning to ride Western style. The staff are fabulous, the atmosphere is great; the horses are gentle, patient and lovely to ride. Even Dave the cat makes us feel welcome each time we arrive.

Highly recommended and we look forward to each lesson.

My 14 year old daughter & I went for a Western taster lesson today. Absolutely fab. Kirsty was informative, knowledgable & a great instructor. Horses very well looked after. Can highly recommend. We will definitely be back

Never rode a horse in my life, my mum wanted me to try so got in contact with Tina who organised a lesson with myself and Kirsty on uno. Very professional and fantastic teaching. Clearly passionate about riding and the animals welfare. Couldn’t recommend enough

I tried one of the experience days a few years ago but didn’t follow up on lessons. However my first lesson today with Kirsty even in the pouring rain was wonderful. Am used to English style of riding but thoroughly enjoyed the differences and am looking forward to doing it again.

Great place to learn a different style of horse riding in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Riding in jeans & boots instead of jodhpurs is definitely the way to go. The horses are bombproof too & there's plenty of bridleways for trail riding if you fancy a day out in the saddle, so go try a western riding day experience, it's great fun.. & a darn sight cheaper than going to Texas ..😊

An amazing place to learn 'real' horse riding, knowledgeable, patient & experienced staff, would definitely recommend Southern Schoolmasters 100%.

Had my first time riding a western trained quarter horse today. Kirsty was a great instructor and mr T the horse really knew what he was doing and was a true schoolmaster

Wonderful horses and guides I had great fun being a cowboy on the 2 hour creek ride ...yeehaa !
