Well equipped, well arranged accommodation, with a warm and friendly welcome from the lovely Lynda. Seven of us plus one dog had exclusive use of the small bunkhouse whilst on a weekend's kayaking course and it was perfect for our needs. Within easy reach of the Rivers Dee and Tryweryn and with a great drying room too. Lynda's full English breakfast is also highly recommended!

Fantastic stay, many thanks Lynda.
The bunkhouse was well equipped and clean.
I would recommend the BBQ house and Lynda's meals are fantastic.
We hope to visit again.

Where to start? Set in idyllic Welsh hills with a farmhouse backdrop. The bunks are clean and warm with plenty of space. You can have a cooked breakfast and homemade evening meals with hot pudding to rival anything your mum ever made. A wonderful place run by a wonderful family. Will definitely return as often as possible.

Lovely place to stay, welcoming to kayakers with a large and effective drying room. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Not a huge parking space but enough for most. Owner really kind and hospitable. Definitely recommend

Linda provides a nice bunkhouse situated not far from Snowdon and the National whitewater centre at the river Tryweryn.

The facilities are simple as expected from a bunkhouse (I.e bunk beds, cupboards, shared shower and bathroom facilities). A few of the beds could do with a replacement mattress and the odd bulbs for the above bed reading lights but on the whole a comfortable night's sleep. The bedding/ duvets provided are clean and soft.

In the communal area there is a fridge/mircowave/kettle/plates/cups/cooker and a large table. The space is fine for eating however is a bit small for all evening relaxing communal area as the benches are round the wall (could do with the odd cushion).

The drying room is warm and has two dehumidifiers which means wet kayaking kit does dry overnight. There is also a BBQ pit which is available. Ample parking is available for guests.

Linda also provides the option of a cooked breakfast and dinner for a small additional cost.

Would recommend this bunkhouse as a base for outdoor activities.

Linda is a wonderful host and the bunkhouse is a perfect but simple resting point in a great location.
There is a great drying room, which is possibly why it's always full of watersport enthusiasts!

Food is immense, beds are nice, lovely lady who is a very good host, gorgeous landscapes in a beautiful area. Sticky Toffee pudding was fab as well as the chicken tikka sandwiches.

Stayed at Tyddyn Bychan on two occasions and I'd highly recommend it. Lynda who runs the bunkhouse is very accommodating and the location is perfectly situated for exploring Snowdonia and other areas such as Bala, Llangollen and Llyn Brenig.
