Hampton by Hilton Corby/Kettering

Decent hotel for one night stay only, we were at a wedding in the area so were happy with what we got for a very good price.
We had a room for 3 with a double bed and sofa bed, there was very little room with this configuration, but manageable when you’re out all day/evening.
Check in/out times were great and breakfast included was a plus.
One main issue- our room (115) was underneath the gym, which for some insane reason is on the 2nd floor above some of the bedrooms! From 7-9am on Sunday morning all we could hear was weights being dropped on the floor above us, not ideal after being out at a wedding as we wanted to be able to sleep in! Definitely ask for a different room if you get anything around 115 and want a decent nights sleep!

Thanks to the lovely girl who got me hash browns after they ran out. You made waking up to an early Saturday breakfast easier. Hotel hero 😍 Thanks also to the ladies on the front desk since I traveled before sorting my cards out, causing some delays.Overall, all staff went the extra mile to accommodate and this is reflected in the service as well as the cleanliness and standard of the rooms.

Booked room for 2 adults 1 child (family room). Upon entering room noticed not enough pillows, called straight down was told would bring up. That staff member left and didn't do as promised (helpful). Phoned after waiting for 2 hours to be told by very rude and very arrogant receptionist Maggie that my daughter shouldn't have a pillow? Why does she have one? Then apparently her system showed an error and told us we would need to pay extra (despite the fact it is a fixed fee for a.room and number of guests were specified upon booking)? Hotel does not accept cash at all? Massive issues trying to pay in the first place. Hotel is pretty substandard and staff are less than useless. Overall really poor experience and would not recommend anyone wasting their time coming here.

Checked in late night, breakfast was good. Really quiet hotel considering the location. Staff were polite and cheerful even at 1:40 am

Penalty parking notice after staying a night, parked in their car park, nobody mentioned anything about this other than me giving my registration to the front desk. Given this they divided not to overturn this!

Do not stay here, they have set this process up in the car park to catch people out and charge them an additional £60 on their stay.

There are plenty of other hotels which offer free parking around.

Very comfortable sleep in a clean room. Staff very cheerful and friendly and an enjoyable complimentary hot breakfast. Parking was free too.. Well done Hampton..

Bit of an inspiring location on the edge of town, but a gem on the inside. Simple but effective layout, very comfortable rooms and very friendly staff.

Staying there for work. Weights room was an added bonus but limited equipment functioning. Lovely breakfast.
