Lovely pub. Interesting decor lots of bricks, wooden beams, old style memorabilia. Courtyard out back. Usual range of beers, ciders, wine and spirits. Friendly even though busy.

Nice location on the high street. Rooms are large and mine had a four poster bed. Clean and tidy. The hotel itself it a little tired, with a typical pub bar. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great position in the town square for the hotel. Excellent staff. Breakfast and evening meals are very good. We had spacious family room on the first floor with balcony overlooking the square. Bit noisy last thing at night and first thing in the morning but not enough to spoil our visit. Carpets a bit tired but a great clean room with flurry towels and plenty of tea, coffee and snacks.

Can't comment about the rooms as we didn't stay here. But thank goodness for a good old fashioned pub. No frills. Takes me back to my youth. I loved it.

We had a lovely one night stay here, the breakfast was very good and set us up for the day of travelling up to Snowdonia. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Couldn't fault the £5 lunch menu. Lovely food washed down with a nice pint. Very welcoming staff and locals
