For a budget hotel this was good. The management happily changed my room for me. Room as not big as I have had but clean, airy with great wet room. Clean crisp linen and towels.. great air con as it was very hot. Free fast WiFi. Huge self service breakfast for a very reasonable price. Pizza was fresh and large enough to share. Beer too. Perhaps they could consider tea and coffee facilities ! Surprisingly there was no noise heard through walls or ceiling considering it was busy. Only a small point but it would be good if there were more food outlets around the services site. Recommended for a stop over. Pet welcome for a small extra charge.

Me and my family stayed here for 3 weeks and I'd highly recommend it for anyone else. The location is brilliant for easy travel around Leicester.
Although the family room we had wasn't massive, this is a budget hotel and it supplied everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The room was regularly cleaned and the lobby supplied a great range of drink and snacks. They even sold fresh tasty pizza if you didn't fancy eating out. You get 24/7 access to free hot water, hot drinks and a microwave. You even have a Shell service station and KFC less than 1 minute walk away if you fancied quick food. The staff are lovely and the breakfast each morning was very tasty.

Great overnight stay. Room small but spotlessly clean, huge tv, good wifi , great shower, comfy bed, reasonable price for drinks, lovely, helpful reception staff. What’s not too like for the price? Shame about the fire alarm issue but that was due to the stupid actions of a guest. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others

For a budget hotel, it was OK. Bed was hard as a rock. Room was clean, but basic. Breakfast worked out cheaper when buying separately from room. Breakfast was standard buffet style. No thrills.

Staff was friendly.

Only got 2 stars as I have stayed in budget style hotels before, this one was OK, but nothing special.

One night stay for business.
Easy to find, located right off the ring road around Leicester. Plenty of parking when I arrived at 10pm.
Service was friendly at reception, both at check in and at breakfast.
Room was better than other Ibis budget's I have stayed in (one had a shower in main room with a frosted door). Room was small but ok size, with separate connected bathroom. All the basics (towels, TV, WiFi, places to hang stuff).
Bathroom has an all in one shower gel / hand soap / shampoo.
Breakfast was ok, box cereals and toast. Cooked breakfast with sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs and beans in heated dishes, so eggs are rubbery, but as expected. Coffee machine.
No iron in room, but there is a tiny room (cupboard) downstairs with an old iron that did the trick.
Overall, good for a budget option. All the basics and not a bad stay. Worth it for one night and saves £10-20 compared to similar options nearby which aren't budget but are your standard chain hotel. Would stay again.

This is an OK budget hotel, shared a twin room with a friend and one of the beds didn't have adequate space on either side. There wasn't any tea or coffee making facilities in the room, though you could a free tea or instant coffee in the reception area. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, if you have food allergies notify them in advance and the can cater for you at breakfast. The room was clean. This is a budget hotel and you do get what you pay for with the room size and facilities, though the standard and service were very good for the price. If you want something cheap and no frills this is one I'd recommend.

Good WiFi, but the cooked breakfast has much to be desired. Rooms are a bit worn and small, but adequate. One towel was a bit suspect, but rooms overall quite clean. Good for a short stay.

If your looking for a room to stay the Ibis Hotel Leicester will work. They were helpful and provided good service.

Many of the amenities I look for were not here. As an insulin diabetic I needed a way to keep my insulin chilled. There are no fridges in rooms nor are there ice machines.
