What can I say? The food is beyond amazing. Each course is sublime and expertly described by the staff. Each flavour can be isolated and appreciated. I cannot give enough praise. I've eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants in London, but the whole experience at Northcote is beyond comparison. Many thanks to you all .

Excellent food, beautifully presented. Service was so friendly and all the staff were working hard and happy to be there.
Clean and stylish building. I would visit this place again for definite. The starter, I had belly of lamb, main course, I had duck with some curry flavouring and dessert, I had a strawberry cheesecake.

Northcote is an excellent hotel and restaurant.

The food is of a very high standard and the service is really very attentive; although more on this later.

We had the 5 course menu and each course was superbly presented and deliciously well balanced. Overall I felt it was too rich to have five courses each with such strong distinctive flavours. But I couldn't possibly fault the quality of the food.

My only slightly negative comment is that at times the service was a little intrusive. The menus we were given included a very clear description of each dish. So it wasn't necessary for the staff to introduce each course. For me this felt like an interruption each time the courses arrived. I've encountered this elsewhere and I just don't understand it! I enjoy food and love eating out but I don't appreciate constant interruptions so that we can be told exactly what we are about to eat. If I wanted to have an explanation of each dish I'd ask!

Having said this it's easily the nicest hotel I've stayed at in Lancashire.

First class on every level. The most amazing dining experience. Food was not only beautifully presented, it was that delicious you didn't want it to
end. The staff are attentive, but not over bearing and their service was excellent. Recommend this experience if only once in a lifetime.

A fantastic hotel and dining experience. The rooms are traditional in style and very luxurious. The Michelen Star restaurant is absolutely brilliant, the serving staff are friendly and efficient and the food is absolutely out of this world (it changes seasonally so you wouldn't get bored if you can't back multiple times).
Go for the wine flight, it's worth the experience of trying different wines you perhaps wouldn't normally pick for yourself. They will also do a 70 ml glass wine flight on request if you don't want to drink much.

Enjoyed an excellent celebration lunch at Northcote. The experience started off with drinks on the terrace which also gave us the chance to make our menu selections. The dining room inside was also pleasant and relaxed with a nice buzz. Quality of cooking largely worthy of the Michelin star and overall a great experience. If I had to find fault it would be that service was spread thin during a busy lunch with us having to top up our own wine and water and also some of the dishes whilst tasty were minuscule even by Michelin star standards e.g. a vegetarian main which comprised of one small potato croquette and turnip sauce for £24, glad I had ordered this as an extra to try out!

If you want some fabulous food in a luxurious setting this is the place to go. We stayed overnight to fully appreciate the food and drink on offer. We had pre dinner cocktails and the matching wine flight with our tasting menu. Everything was superb. The hotel is set at the edge of the Trough of Bowland so will provide good walking and exploring opportunities at a better time of year. There seems to be plenty to do in the area.
